By using familite.co, you're joining a community of families striving for less mental load. These terms ensure the service remains safe and reliable for everyone.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing familite.co (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This is a collaborative digital handbook designed for family use. If you are using this on behalf of a household, you represent that you have the authority to bind that household to these terms.
2. Beta Disclaimer
Important: You are joining an Early-Access Beta.
familite.co is currently in a "Founding Families" beta phase. This means the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." While we work hard to ensure reliability, we do not guarantee that the Service will be free of bugs, interruptions, or data delays.
3. Use of AI & Financial Data
Our Service includes an automated "Smart Parsing" feature for bank statements.
- Verification Required: You acknowledge that our AI-powered engine extracts "draft" transactions which may contain errors. You are responsible for using the Verification Wizard to confirm and edit transactions.
- No Financial Advice: familite.co is a record-keeping tool, not a financial advisor. We are not responsible for any financial decisions or losses resulting from the use of the data parsed by the Service.
4. Your Account & Family Workspace
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, which is managed via Supabase and Google OAuth. You are responsible for the actions of any family members you invite to your workspace via invite links.
5. Data Ownership & Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain full ownership of all documents, links, and data you add to the Vault or the Service.
familite.co is storage-agnostic; while we store your uploaded files, your external links (e.g., to Google Drive) remain your property and under your control.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service allows you to connect with third-party providers like Google Calendar. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or privacy practices of these third parties.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAMILITE.CO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, FINANCIAL ERRORS, OR DISRUPTIONS IN FAMILY COORDINATION.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, especially in cases of unauthorized use or violation of these terms. You may delete your account and household data at any time via the Service settings.
